Cost Engineer

Role Overview: As a Cost Engineer at aPriori, you will play an integral role in building out a cost management platform internally. Your responsibilities will include handling project management, supporting aPriori solution configuration, working with subject matter experts to understand manufacturing processes, informing users, maintaining documentation, and training them on improving their cost estimates. Key Responsibilities: - Handle project management and execution to meet internal timelines and expectations. - Prioritize projects based on implementation time and impact on internal product cost management strategy. - Support aPriori solution configuration by modeling manufacturing facilities, capabilities, rules, and accounting rates. - Work with subject matter experts to deeply understand manufacturing processes and operations, associate operation/process to geometric features, cycle time, and cost impact, and develop logic (formulas and rules) to capture that relationship. - Inform users, maintain documentation, and train them on improving their cost estimates with the updates made. Qualification Required: - B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing. - 1-5 years experience in costing of metallic components or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Tools. - 5 to 10 years experience in costing of metallic components with Die Design. Additional Details: This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
