Job Description

Cost Assistant (CA/CMA Fresher)

Steamhouse India ltd.

Location

1. Cost Audits:

Conducting thorough cost audits, analyzing structures, and identifying variances.
Collaborating with departments to investigate and report on standard cost discrepancies.
Providing insights and recommendations for cost-saving areas.

2. MIS Reporting:

Generating and maintaining accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Analyzing financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support strategic planning.

3. Compliance and Process Improvement:

Staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with cost accounting standards.
Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance and internal control procedures.
Continuously evaluating existing processes and suggesting improvements for efficiency.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
