Cost Accounting- CMA/ ICWA - Manufacturing Background

Note: Preferred Chennai candidates with manufacturing background. (Good communication is must )

Salary: Good hike based on previous package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages standard costing daily /weekly / monthly routines.
• Responsible for understanding inventory reserves, provisions, and warranty provisions (future obligations).
• Proper tagging of corrected orders to avoid errors like double corrections.
• Aged assessments of inventory for better control processes.
• Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of financial data, especially regarding inventory and provisions.
• Manage the global schedule for vendor validations and the annual physical inventory count.
• Handle system execution and documentation related to inventory validation.
• Work closely with operations partners to manage and resolve aged assessments after period-end.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Provide detailed cost analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs.
• In charge of the financial close schedule, ensuring timely execution and completion of tasks.
• Ensuring that any issues found during the financial close are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Not only responsible for completing accounting tasks but also expected to follow up and resolve issues with operations, ensuring full-circle control.
• Understands the audience and consumers of financial reports to avoid delays and ensure that the reports meet expectations

Qualifications:

• B.com with cost accounting experience (Being Qualified Cost Accountant (CMA/ICWA) Semi/ Inter/ Full qualified )
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cost accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cost accounting modules and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems like Oracle/ SAP
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
