Cost Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
• Prepare product cost sheets, standard costs, and analyze actual vs. standard variances.
• Conduct periodic cost audits and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Implement & Monitor material consumption, labour efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Support management in pricing decisions and margin analysis.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and cost statements for top management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to track/set product & track cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare & filling Cost Analysis reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Education

  :
• ICWA/CA
• Strong academic background

• Experience

  :
• More than 10 years of experience in costing, preferably in

  Chemicals

  manufacturing

  or FMCG industries

  .
• Proven expertise in product costing, cost audits, and variance analysis.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP B1/HANA) and advanced Excel.
• Ready to visit Kurkumbh Plant 2/3 days in a week.
