Work location: Bangalore, Chennai & Coimbatore Position Summary: Prepare various types of basic federal and state tax filings; assist with accounting/consulting projects, and payroll reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Adhere to the Firms policies and procedures, core values, demonstrate their importance to others, and provide input to management on suggested modifications to Firm policies and procedures as necessary. Work closely with all team members to identify and resolve issues encountered in all assigned projects through effective and timely communication. Consistently perform and take ownership of all assigned projects under the supervision of more experienced team members. Keep supervisors apprised of project status and scheduling issues on a timely basis. Develop an understanding of clients operations and accounting systems. Establish and maintain good working relationships and demonstrate effective communication skills with client personnel at appropriate levels Maintain appropriate professionalism in client and team interactions. Develop mindfulness of budget and deadline considerations and strive for adherence. Develop effective and clear workpaper techniques. Assist with tax return preparation, processing, and other accounting/consulting projects. Develop an ability to perform basic tax and accounting research. Work with your Direct Report to develop a charge goal, along with a plan to achieve and monitor your monthly and annual goal. Develop and implement a professional reading program that will assist in the recognition of tax and accounting issues. Work with direct report manager to develop an appropriate plan of professional development and take responsibility to ensure that plan is achieved. Qualification \ Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. Masters degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Skills: Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills. Sufficient technical skills to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. CPA candidate required, CPA strongly preferred.

Providing perspective to clients on trends and emerging practices in the local and global market in relation to clients operations. Is involved in developing new products, services and delivery methods linked to the area of specialization. A qualified Chartered accountant 5-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in - Corporate tax, Personal tax or International Tax
