Role Overview: As a Corporate Relations Manager in Facility Management, your strategic role involves managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders such as corporate clients, tenants, vendors, and internal departments. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of the company's facilities while aligning with overall business objectives and maintaining a positive corporate image. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients and tenants, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with facility services. - Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external service providers (e.g., cleaning, security, maintenance). Ensure all vendors meet contractual obligations, performance standards, and budget requirements. - Collaborate with the facility management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, security, and cleaning. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service quality and efficiency. - Develop and implement long-term facility strategies that support business growth and cost-efficiency. This includes managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and planning for future needs such as renovations or space optimization. - Ensure all facilities and operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe and secure working environment. - Work closely with departments like HR, finance, and IT to align facility services with their needs. Communicate changes, project timelines, and operational updates effectively across the organization. Qualifications Required: - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse stakeholders, from C-level executives to on-site maintenance staff. - The ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams is a core requirement. - Must be adept at identifying and resolving complex issues quickly and efficiently, often under pressure. - Strong skills in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting are crucial for this role. - Experience in planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to facility improvements, office moves, or new installations. - While not an engineer, a solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and facility management software is highly beneficial. - A bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, engineering, or a related field is typically required. Several years of experience in facility management, corporate relations, or a similar role is also a standard prerequisite.
