Corporate Legal Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Corporate Legal professional with expertise in contract drafting, compliance and legal advisory. Skilled in managing ROC/MCA filings, corporate governance, litigation coordination and legal risk management. Ensures statutory compliance, supports business decisions and safeguards the company's legal interests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate various contracts and agreements (Vendor, Client, Employment, Lease, Partnership, etc.)
• Provide legal advice and support to management on business decisions, risks and regulatory matters.
• Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, including Companies Act, Labour Laws, Contract Act, IPR and IT regulations.
• Handle legal documentation for corporate governance, board meetings and company filings (ROC, MCA, etc.)
• Liaise with external legal counsels for litigation, arbitration or regulatory matters.
• Manage legal risk by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate responses to notices or legal queries.
• Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions or business partnerships.
• Keep management informed about upcoming legal changes and their business implications.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, confidentiality and intellectual property laws.

Required Qualifications:

• LLB (Bachelor of Law) - Mandatory.
• LLM (Corporate/Business Law preferred) - Optional but an added advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate legal, contract management or compliance roles.
• Experience working with corporate governance, regulatory compliance and contract lifecycle management.
• Exposure to litigation support, arbitration and ROC/MCA processes is preferred.
