Shift

Key Highlights:

  • Primary Skill

    : MySQL DBA with Azure or MySQL DBA with AWS (either is acceptable).

  • Linux

    : Mandatory.

  • Training Location

    : Pune (1 month, accommodation provided). Candidates should be willing to relocate to Coimbatore post-training.

  • Experience

    : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Education

    :
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  2. Technical Skills

    :
    • Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, database design, and administration.
    • Expertise in

      T-SQL

      for scripting, debugging stored procedures, and triggers.
    • Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
    • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups (e.g., Always On, failover clustering).
    • Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
    • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems.
    • Experience with

      cloud-based SQL services

      (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
    • Exposure to monitoring tools like

      Redgate

      ,

      SolarWinds DPA

      , or

      SQL Sentry

      .
    • Understanding of

      DevOps practices

      and database automation tools.
    • Knowledge of

      SSIS

      ,

      SSRS

      , and

      Power BI

      for ETL and reporting tasks.

  3. Additional Experience

    :
    • Hands-on experience with other databases, such as

      MySQL

      and

      MongoDB

      .
