• Job Title: Assistant Cook
• Reports To: Head Chef

Position Overview

The Assistant Cook will support the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals for staff, crew, and guests at Punjab Film City. This role requires basic cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced film production environment while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.) as per recipes and instructions.
• Cook simple dishes or assist in complex preparations under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, storage, and work areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients.
• Help reduce food wastage through proper handling and storage.
• Cooperate with other kitchen and service staff to ensure timely meal service.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience of Kitchen (restaurant, canteen, catering, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Good time management and teamwork skills.
