Role & responsibilities : Perform regular inspections of conveyor systems to identify potential faults and perform preventive maintenance. Well versed in belt conveyor belt mapping and upkeeping of data. Having the good Knowledge about Conveyor types, specification and technical details. Having the knowledge about conveyor healthiness monitoring process/system. Having the experience about the health status of conveyor and defects identification & mitigation plan. Knowledge about improving performance of belt conveyor and improve reliability. Respond to break-downs and emergency calls quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency. To measure the length of all sizes of conveyors, splice rubber conveyor belts for hot & cold joints and belt tensioning. Also, keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. To handle all the necessary equipment related to conveyor belt joining works. Maintain all the equipment in healthy and safe condition to avoid breakdowns. Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks. Proper utilization and maintenance of vulcanizing equipment and joining kits. Troubleshoot and repair conveyor components, including motors, gearbox, fluid coupling, pulleys, Roller, switches, and other electrical or mechanical parts. Should know the procedure of belt cutting and locking. Should know the risk involved in vulcanizing. Should know the pressure and heat produced during belt vulcanizing. Monitor conveyor operations closely, rectifying any issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow. Coordinate with other team members to solve complex mechanical or technical issues associated with the conveyor systems. Preferred candidate profile:
