Controls Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Controls Engineer at Deceler Vibrotek Controls Private Limited in Chennai, Noombal, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems & Safety Automation processes to ensure the seamless operation of automated machinery and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA systems, and robotic controllers. - Develop control logic, wiring diagrams, and programming for automation systems. - Integrate various hardware and software components, ensuring compatibility and functionality. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, and software engineers) to achieve system objectives. - Diagnose and resolve issues in control systems and automation processes. - Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure system reliability. - Conduct system tests to verify performance and compliance with design specifications. - Support the commissioning and startup of automated systems at customer or production sites. - Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies into existing systems. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and test protocols. - Ensure systems meet industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. - Train operators and maintenance personnel on the use of control systems. - Provide ongoing technical support to ensure smooth operation. Qualification Required: - Education: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: 0-1 years of experience in automation or control systems engineering. - Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi). - Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
