Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of establishing separated employee loans, creating loan amortization schedules, and collecting past due balances. You will also conduct ad hoc research and analysis of accounting transactions, identify issues, and participate in special projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts - Administer separated employee loans and collect past due balances - Conduct ad hoc research and analysis of accounting transactions - Identify and communicate processing, internal control weaknesses, and accounting issues - Participate in special projects as requested - Challenge existing processes for operational efficiency and offer innovative ideas for improvement - Resolve confidential and general accounting issues with supervision - Prioritize assignments, follow through on commitments, and take ownership for results - Identify potential financial exposure and escalate accordingly **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline - 0 to 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience - Proficiency in computer skills, especially advanced Excel - Working knowledge of the firm's business, organization structure, and financial applications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to apply sound business judgment to assignments - Willingness to accept new challenges, flexible, and accepting of change This role reports to Accounting Analyst Supervising Associate/Supervisor/Assistant Director and involves performing analysis and account reconciliations with guidance. Final work products are reviewed and feedback is provided. Vacation generally cannot be taken during month-end and year-end close processes.
