Continuous Improvement Lead

Role Overview: You will be working at Hitachi Energy India Operations Center (INOPC) which is a hub for energy transition technologists focusing on grid automation, transformers, high voltage products, grid integration, and service businesses. The center aims to advance the world's energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure by fostering collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the hub operations and CIL team to train and facilitate improvement projects through Kaizens, ensuring 100% training for key team members - Create a Kaizen Funnel and schedule, implement the plan as per schedule, and review monthly with BU operations - Ensure project managers of Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) measure and track improvements, reporting them in the RELEX monthly before the target date - Provide necessary training on Lean Tools and develop Subject Matter Experts for key lean Tools as per the plan - Understand the current Continuous Improvement methodology LOM / Lean Deployment model - Create a Training and Development Plan, providing necessary training on Lean Tools to key Leaders and Management team as needed - Understand Technical specifications and help with Process finalization based on data validation - Manage expectations of LPGs/Customers across diverse geographies & cultures - Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/any) - Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement projects - Certified Lean Six Sigma Green belt - Knowledge of Statistical data analysis, understanding lean concepts, continuous improvement, and prior relevant Industry experience - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills - Stakeholder Management through continuous interaction with Business Leaders and Partners across the globe - Experience in SAP/MRP and Power BI - Experience in Projects related to Cost avoidance and process time reduction Note: Hitachi Energy supports accessibility accommodations for job seekers with disabilities.
