Job Description

Role Overview: As a Lean & Six Sigma Specialist at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for driving Lean & Six Sigma practices and PMO activities for transformation projects such as Project Blossom. Your primary focus will be on governance through a gate model, stakeholder communication across the finance community, and identifying and executing Continuous Improvement plans. You will play a crucial role in overseeing tactical projects, managing process improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to quality gate model structure. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive CI capability and culture change, and support the successful execution of project initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and execute Continuous Improvement plans and oversee tactical projects completion. - Assist in CI program administration and coordination, including developing and executing deployment plans. - Independently manage the daily execution of value stream processes, sub processes, and work streams to ensure completion of milestones on time. - Monitor and track progress of projects under the transformation program, maintaining status of milestones and deliverables. - Identify project/program risks and steps to mitigate them, ensure governance through adherence to Quality Gate Model structure. - Setup Quality gate review and cadence for projects, gather and maintain project documentation in common SharePoint site. - Prepare standardized templates to support efficient project execution, drive collaboration and team-based problem solving. - Work with cross-functional teams to select and implement tools and methodologies capturing best practices. - Drive CI capability and culture change through best practice sharing, vocal advocacy, and visible leadership. - Implement best-in-class performance management framework for all business lines, prepare presentations, communications, and training materials. - Conduct training, workshops, and drive a Lean Six Sigma Culture and project management, ensure compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/master's degree from a reputed university. - 5+ years of overall experience with 2+ years in a business analyst role. - Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills. - Excellent project management skills. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
