Job Description

Position: Senior Continental Chef Locations: Goregaon West (Mumbai) Salary : ₹3.0 – ₹4.2 LPA (CTC) Key Responsibilities: Lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Train and mentor junior chefs on food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise inventory, food storage, and kitchen hygiene standards. Maintain high food quality and consistency by following recipes and SOPs. Implement the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system and ensure proper food labeling. Coordinate with the Operations Manager for menu planning and new dish development. Manage kitchen budgets, control wastage, and optimize resource use. Hire, train, and evaluate kitchen staff performance. Requirements: Minimum 7+ years of experience in Continental cuisine, with 2+ years in a senior role. Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, F&B Production, or Hotel Management. Strong knowledge of Continental and Italian cuisines. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with front-of-house teams.
