About the Role

Altruist Business Hotel Hyderabad is seeking a skilled Continental Commis Chef to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Continental cuisine, dedicated to maintaining high culinary standards, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes.
• Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen as per hotel standards.
• Support senior chefs in daily operations and mise-en-place.
• Ensure timely and quality food preparation during service hours.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as Commis 2 or Commis 1 in Continental cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of basic Continental dishes, sauces, grilling, sautéing, etc.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene standards.
• Hotel experience preferred; immediate joiners highly desirable.
