Contentful Architect

A seasoned Contentful Architect plays a crucial role in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining our Content Management System. Working closely with other technology leaders, developers, quality engineers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users, you will be instrumental in building a cutting-edge Ecommerce website and digital channels using Contentful. Effective problem-solving and communication skills are essential in engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects is required. You will support the investigation and implementation of improvements and developments to enhance the performance of our digital platforms. Collaboration with software developers, architects, UX/UI visual designers, and product developers is crucial. Understanding cross-browser compatibility issues and Agile development practices is essential. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in building sites using CMS, Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue. Additionally, 8+ years" experience in maintaining and administering CMS is necessary. Proficiency in creating responsive websites in Contentful with 3+ years" experience is expected. Designing and developing infrastructure for modern Contentful-based web pages and creating content models are key responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of Contentful is crucial for this role, including understanding content modeling, utilizing Contentful APIs (RESTful or GraphQL), managing content types, and working with entries and assets within the Contentful CMS. Experience in integrating 3rd party services for translation into Contentful and migrating WP-based content to Contentful are important tasks. Advanced skills in React JS, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js/Gatsby, static HTML, SSR, visualizing Contentful data for the web, and setting up infrastructure for delivering Next.js generated web pages are required. The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing complex web applications with React, Hooks, and TypeScript. Building reusable components, front-end libraries, and optimizing components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers are also part of the role. Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adaptability to frequent changes and ambiguity are essential attributes for this position.,
