Content Writer - WFO (HYD)

Job Description

We are looking for a creative Content Writer who can produce compelling and informative content on a daily basis. In this position, writers will be responsible for researching in-depth about the topics given, writing articles and blog posts, Guest posting on third-party websites, and creating engaging posts on Quora and Reddit that accurately promote our brand to our audience.

Candidates must have excellent writing skills, along with a strong understanding of grammar and syntax and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Researching and writing high-quality content
2. Ensuring the content is plagiarism-free and not flagged as AI-generated.
3. Meeting deadlines for submission and reworks
4. Meeting the content needs and preferences
5. Editing and revising content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
6. Implementing Best SEO practices to optimise content
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest information related to our domain
8. Communicating with POC and responding to feedback promptly
9. Adhering to SOP guidelines and specifications
10. Managing workload and prioritising tasks effectively

Qualifications

1. At least 0 - 18 months of experience as a Content Writer with excellent writing and editing skills.
2. Good understanding of SEO principles & optimisation, with a focus on both on-page and off-page SEO.
3. 6 months or more of Experience in forum-related content marketing, like Quora and Reddit
4. Prior experience in YouTube scriptwriting is preferred.
5. Prior experience in Edtech is preferred.
6. Prior experience in the Education sector is preferred.

Education & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 1.55 years of hands-on experience in Content Writing, copywriting or content marketing, preferably in an edtech-based company or educational sector
