Shivalik College of Engineering (SCE) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop high-quality, engaging, and informative content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a flair for storytelling, a strong command over language, and the ability to craft content that enhances the institution’s brand, outreach, and engagement with students, faculty, and the wider community.

Roles & Responsibilities

As Content Writer:

• Create, edit, and proofread content for the college website, blogs, newsletters, brochures, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Develop content strategies in alignment with marketing, branding, and communication goals.
• Collaborate with faculty, departments, and digital marketing teams to generate accurate and compelling content.
• Research industry trends, academic developments, and competitor content to ensure originality and relevance.
• Optimize content for SEO, social media engagement, and digital campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all communication channels.
• Assist in the development of scripts for videos, webinars, and other multimedia content.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in content writing, preferably in education, marketing, or corporate sectors.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, SEO, and content management systems (CMS).
• Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms.
• Strong research, communication, and collaboration skills.
