Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content for web pages , blogs , and thought leadership articles . Ensure each piece is SEO-optimized with a deep understanding of keyword research, internal linking, and meta structuring . Align content with buyer personas, funnel stages, and UK-centric business communication styles. SEO Integration Collaborate with the SEO team to implement technical SEO practices (schema, site structure relevance, canonical tags, etc.). Integrate On-Page SEO strategies including meta tags, H1-H6 structuring, keyword placement, and image optimization. Contribute to Off-Page SEO efforts by supporting content for backlink generation and guest posting initiatives. CMS & Publishing Manage content via WordPress formatting, publishing, and maintaining consistency in presentation and branding. Regularly update and repurpose existing content based on performance metrics and SEO audits. Content Strategy Support Assist in developing monthly content calendars and keyword maps. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to inform data-backed content decisions. Key Requirements: Proven Experience in: Writing for UK-based B2B sectors (payroll, finance, tech, or similar industries). Producing diverse content formats: landing pages, case studies, and blog posts. Strong Understanding of Technical SEO principles Familiarity with On-Page and Off-Page SEO techniques (even basic Off-Page is a plus). Working knowledge of WordPress . Excellent research, grammar, and proofreading skills. Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
