Content & Social Media Executive

A newly launched spiritual-tech and e-commerce startup. We’re working to build meaningful digital experiences rooted in Sanatan Dharma and make authentic spiritual content and products accessible to people across India and the world.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive who genuinely enjoys creating thoughtful, well-researched content. If you love exploring spiritual topics, turning ideas into engaging posts or videos, and being part of a team that’s building things from scratch, this role will fit you well. Basic graphic design and video editing skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research spiritual topics, festivals, rituals, scriptures, and cultural traditions to create content that is accurate, meaningful, and easy to understand.

• Create and publish engaging social media content — reels, short videos, posts, stories, and carousels.

• Build content for our public content library on the company's website.

• Work with the design and marketing teams to ensure the brand voice stays consistent.

• Create simple visual designs using tools like Canva or Adobe.

• Edit short videos for reels and other social platforms.

• Handle day-to-day posting across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

• Keep an eye on trends, new content formats, and what audiences are responding to.

• Follow the content calendar and help shape new ideas for upcoming themes.

• Track content performance and share suggestions on what can be improved.

Requirements:

• Ideally 1–3 years of experience, but talented freshers with strong skills are encouraged to apply.

• Strong research and writing ability — especially when dealing with spiritual or cultural topics.

• Basic design skills (Canva/Adobe) and basic video editing skills (CapCut/Premiere, etc.).

• Good understanding of how social media platforms work and what type of content performs well.

• Ability to explain spiritual concepts in a simple, engaging way.

• Good attention to detail and time management.

• Comfortable working independently in a small, early-stage team.

• A genuine interest in spirituality and Indian culture.

• Being personally religious or spiritually inclined is a big plus, as it brings authenticity to the work.

• Must be able to work on-site near Kolkata Airport.
