What Were Looking For:Meltwater, a global software as a service company, is looking to hire a full time Content Engineer to join our Content Support team!Content Support expands and maintains (editorial) content and Media Relations data while focusing on quality, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
We are looking for people who are interested in developing their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace, and a positive and solution-oriented attitude is a must-have
Youll join a truly enthusiastic team of friendly people and will be working as part of the wider Content Support team across the globe
Your main responsibility in this position is to continually maintain Meltwaters content crawling solutions
All required training will be provided to you to master your tasks

Were actively working to build a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to join us in our journey!What Youll Do:Master our internal tooling to update crawler configurationsContinuous improvement of content quality and expansion of content coverageWork with other divisions to help increase customer satisfactionCollaborate with engineering teams to improve current and develop future in-house toolingWhat Youll Bring:1-2 years experience in a support roleBachelors degree in computer science or related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong knowledge of HTML and CSSFirm understanding of HTTP (status codes, authentication, etc.)Quick learnerStrong analytical skills and reliabilityFlexible and able to adjust quickly to changesGreat attention to detail and accuracy in workUnderstanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issuesA passion for learning different technologiesDemonstrated skill in resolving technical issuesExcellent professional skills, including effective written and spoken communication skillsProven ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time while paying strict attention to detailsDemonstrated strong teamwork ethicBasic knowledge of web scraping and the usage of regular expressions and/or XPATH in that contextYou are technical with a customer-first mindset and comfortable with HTML, APIs, log files and solving ambiguous issuesExcel formula experience a plus youre comfortable transforming data and manipulating various data typesFamiliarity with JavaScript, Python or any other scripting languageWhat We Offer:Enjoy flexible paid time off options for enhanced work-life balanceComprehensive health insurance tailored for you
