Role & responsibilities Content Strategy & Leadership Define and execute a content roadmap across various categories. Lead and mentor the editorial and copywriting team producing 50+ articles daily. Uphold BIG LIVEs tone— relatable, vibrant, and inspirational . Oversee agency-led content with stringent quality control. Content Creation and Editing : Write and edit high-impact articles, blogs, and web copy. Ensure all content is SEO-optimized , fact-checked, and culturally relevant. Develop engaging formats like listicles, how-to guides, trend reports , and RJ-led stories . SEO and Content Analytics : Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, etc. Optimize content for keywords, readability, and engagement. Leverage data insights to refine strategy and drive organic traffic growth . Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support : Repurpose long-form content into social-first formats (e.g., Reels, X threads) Support the Product Manager in developing sales collateral for advertisers . Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop content for user engagement initiatives. Project and Editorial Calendar Management : Maintain an editorial calendar aligned with key events (e.g., festive campaigns, fashion weeks). Ensure consistent delivery of daily updates and weekly spotlight features . Manage agency partnerships to ensure quality and timely content within budget. Manage content production timelines, ensuring daily updates and weekly spotlights are delivered on schedule. Stakeholder Communication : Report content performance and strategy updates to the Product Manager Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance (e.g., disclaimers for health content , image copyrights). Qualifications Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred. 7+ years of editorial experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in digital lifestyle content. Proven ability to create and edit SEO-optimized content. Deep understanding of digital content strategy, including social media integration and audience engagement. Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs). Excellent writing and editing skills across blogs, website copy, and marketing assets. Demonstrated success managing teams with an emphasis on mentorship and quality control. Familiarity with the Indian digital lifestyle landscape and urban consumer preferences. Proficiency in CMS platforms and editorial tools (e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway). Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
