About the Role

Pop-Culture Content Creator

This role is all about storytelling in 30 seconds or less — blending creativity, cultural awareness, and digital-native instincts.

What You’ll Do

• Ideate, script, and create

  short-form content around shows, movies, creators, and trending moments.

• Develop unique formats

  such as “Review in 15 Seconds,” “Top 5 Moments,” or “Why This Scene Went Viral.”

• Spot trends early

  and reimagine them for our audience.

• Collaborate closely

  with editors/designers to ensure ideas are brought to life with the right look, feel, and tone.

• Write punchy scripts

  for reels, explainers, recaps, and reaction content.

• Analyze performance

  using analytics and constantly refine ideas to maximize engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Pop culture obsession

  — from shows and films to internet trends, creators, and viral moments.

• Deep understanding

  of short-form platforms: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X/Twitter.

• Creative storytelling ability

  — able to spark emotion, laughter, or FOMO in under 30 seconds.

• Format-driven mindset

  — you naturally think in memes, recaps, explainers, and reaction styles.

• Trend-savviness

  — you don’t just follow trends, you predict and reinvent them.

• Strong sense of timing and tone

  for content that connects instantly.

• Portfolio/Examples of past content

  (mandatory for shortlisting).
