Content and Newsletter Intern (FinTech)

Designation: Content & Newsletter Intern
Location: Andheri (East), Mumbai (in-office)
Working Hours: Fixed hours. Flexible for students.

Internship Description

• Own the weekly personal finance newsletter and related social posts.
• Write clear copy.
• Design simple, on brand creatives.
• Repurpose content into carousels, posts, and short reels. Keep everything accurate and compliance friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Newsletter: Draft, design, and prepare the weekly FinLetter.
• Repurposing: Turn newsletter items into Instagram carousels, LinkedIn posts, X threads, and short reels.
• Design: Create visuals in Canva or Adobe. Do basic edits in CapCut or Premiere.
• Calendar and quality control: Maintain the content calendar. Deliver error-free copy. Follow compliance notes.
• Metrics: Track open rate, click-through rate, saves, and shares. Suggest small experiments.
• Research: Pull simple data points from reliable sources and cite them.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong writing. Clear and accurate.
• Good eye for layout and visuals.
• Comfortable with Canva or Adobe.
• Basic video editing is a plus.
• Understands IG, LinkedIn, and X formats.
• Detail focused. Meets deadlines. Open to feedback.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in a finance related field B.Com or BBA or Economics or Accounting or similar. Final year students are welcome.
• Portfolio with two or three samples. Newsletter, blog, carousel, or a reel script on finance topics is preferred.
• Nice to have: Beehiiv or Substack or Mailchimp. Basic SEO. Interest in NISM or finance certifications.

Success Metrics

• Newsletter ready within three to four hours from brief.
• Zero grammar or factual errors.
• One weekly newsletter plus three to five repurposed posts.
• Gradual improvement in open rate, click-through rate, saves, and shares.
