Content and Copy Writer

As a Content and Copywriter at the company located in Govt Cyberpark, Calicut, your role will involve creating compelling content across various platforms such as website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, social media content, product descriptions, and more. You will play a crucial part in driving traffic, conversions, and brand loyalty through engaging storytelling and maintaining a strong brand voice. Collaborating with various teams, optimizing content for SEO, and staying updated on industry trends will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities: - Write clear, persuasive, original content and copy for website pages, blog articles, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, video scripts, and marketing materials. - Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels. - Optimize content for SEO using relevant keywords and best practices. - Conduct research on industry-related topics and trends. - Maintain and evolve the brand voice and tone. - Edit and proofread copy to uphold high editorial standards. - Analyze content performance and make iterative improvements based on insights. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Minimum of 1+ years of experience in content creation or copywriting. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy. - Ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels. - Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), Google Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) is a plus. - Creative thinker with the ability to craft compelling narratives. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in industry-specific content creation (e.g., tech, fashion, finance). - Knowledge of UX writing or conversion copywriting. - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva).
