Role Overview: As part of the Tax Team at EY, you will have the opportunity to work with leading tax professionals, receive extensive training, and build a successful career within the organization. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining client relationships, providing comprehensive tax solutions, representing the firm in assessments and tribunal appeals, conducting research on complex tax theory, and ensuring accurate tax compliance products are delivered within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations, and ensure outstanding client service - Team up with tax professionals to offer comprehensive tax solutions - Represent the firm for assessments and tribunal appeals at the CIT/ITAT level - Conduct research on complex tax theory and positions, and apply them to specific client needs - Provide comprehensive knowledge on tax case laws and develop opinion papers - Determine all information required for accurate tax compliance products and formulate a plan to gather/communicate information - Provide timely and high-quality services and work products exceeding client expectations Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree, preferably with an emphasis in economics, finance, or statistics - Minimum 1-3 years of experience - Certified CA/CS/LLB with 0-1 years of post-qualification experience in direct corporate tax Additional Details: EY is committed to being an inclusive employer and offers flexible working arrangements to achieve a balance between delivering excellent client service and personal priorities.
