Role Summary

The SFSF Integration CPI Consultant will design, develop, and support integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP / non-SAP systems using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) / SAP BTP Integration Suite. The role involves integration build, troubleshooting, data mapping, performance optimization, requirements analysis, and business-facing consulting. The consultant will work with global clients, HR stakeholders, functional SF teams, and Deloitte delivery leads to ensure scalable and secure data exchanges across HR landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development Build

  • Develop end-to-end iFlows for Employee Central (EC), Recruiting, Onboarding, LMS, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Payroll integrations.
  • Create inbound/outbound integrations using OData APIs, SOAP APIs, SFTP, HTTPS, SuccessFactors Adapters.
  • Implement transformations using Groovy/XSLT, field mapping, filters, message routing, and content modifiers.
  • Configure communication channels, certificates, security artifacts key stores.

SuccessFactors + Technical Integration Ownership

  • Work on SF EC - CPI - ERP/Third-party integration design.
  • Understand SF data models, MDF objects, EC entities, OData dictionary.
  • Build maintain API connections, Monitor API throttling, pagination, batching.
  • Work with SAP On-Premise systems using IDocs/BAPIs, CPI Agents, Cloud Connector.

Support, Monitoring Troubleshooting

  • Handle L2/L3 support tickets, issue analysis, log debugging, performance tuning.
  • Manage CPI runtime queues, message failures, retry handling incident resolution.
  • Perform unit tests, SIT/UAT support regression validation for integration enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation - iFlow design specs, mapping sheets, deployment steps.

Client Engagement Delivery Operations

  • Participate in requirement gathering, estimation, effort sizing solution workshops.
  • Work in Agile delivery model - sprint planning, demos, user story refinement.
  • Provide knowledge-transfer to stakeholders, junior team mentoring technical handover.
  • Collaborate with SF module consultants, BTP architects, Basis/Security downstream business systems.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
