Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineering Lead (6+ years of experience) to join our Quality Engineering team In this role, you will be responsible for leading test strategy, automation frameworks, and execution to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software products You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud-based applications, driving test excellence, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment, Responsibilities Lead the definition, design, and implementation of test strategies, frameworks, and practices for enterprise-scale solutions, Oversee manual and automated testing across frontend and backend components, Drive test automation initiatives using open-source tools such as Selenium (UI) and REST Assured (API), Ensure comprehensive coverage of testing in cloud-based environments (AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch), Review, guide, and contribute to the development of automation frameworks and reusable test assets, Lead performance testing and engineering efforts using tools such as JMeter, Manage test execution, defect tracking, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders, Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality, Mentor, coach, and provide technical leadership to a team of Quality Engineers, Advocate for Agile testing practices, CI/CD integration, and engineering excellence, Stay updated on emerging testing tools, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve quality processes, Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), 6+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality engineering, Proven experience in leading test strategy definition, planning, and execution, Strong hands-on expertise in: UI and API test automation (Selenium, REST Assured), Performance testing (JMeter), Cloud technologies (AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git), Solid understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and coding standards, Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, Agile methodologies, and service-oriented architectures, Experience in mentoring and leading teams of Quality Engineers, Professional certifications such as ISTQB are an advantage, Soft Skills Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities, Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about continuous learning and improvement,
