CONSULTANT MICROBIOLOGIST

🔬 🔬 URGENT VACANCY- Consultant Microbiologist – Dr. Dangs Lab (Hauz Khas, New Delhi)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant Microbiologist to join our team at Dr. Dangs Lab, diagnostic Lab known for quality and precision. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of post-MD Microbiology experience with proven expertise in clinical diagnostics, laboratory management, and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and supervise microbiology investigations, including bacteriology, mycology, virology.

Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting of results with a focus on diagnostic excellence.

Conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing and participate in antibiotic stewardship programs.

Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes as per NABL standards.

Collaborate with clinicians for result interpretation.

Participate in infection prevention, biosafety protocols, and laboratory audits.

Qualifications & Experience:

✅ MD in Microbiology (mandatory)

✅ 3–5 years of post-MD experience in a reputed diagnostic centre / hospital laboratory

✅ Strong understanding of clinical microbiology, diagnostic methodologies, and reporting standards

✅ Excellent communication & leadership skills
