Job Description

You will be part of Evalueserve's on-site team supporting the Strategy and Business Development function for an Aluminium SBU in the Middle East. Your focus will be on topics such as supply demand outlook, asset and project economics, customer and segment evaluation, and growth opportunities across the aluminium value chain (bauxite, alumina, smelting, and downstream). To support decision making, you will combine market analysis, financial modeling, and regular interaction with client stakeholders. Your role will involve working closely with the Senior Consultant and client team on strategy and business development projects across the aluminium value chain. You will be responsible for building and maintaining financial and economic models for assets and projects under guidance, conducting market and competitive analysis, supporting analysis of customers and segments, and preparing clear and structured analysis summaries and recommendations. Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, or consulting, especially in metals, mining, and the aluminium value chain. - Strong understanding of basic economics and financial concepts such as cash flows, IRR, NPV, and sensitivities, along with proficiency in Excel-based models. - Demonstrated experience in market and competitive analysis, preferably for commodities or industrial products. - Experience working with or supporting customer-facing or business development teams is a plus. - Very good command of spoken and written English. - Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with the ability to create clear and precise client-ready outputs. - Willingness to be based on-site in the Middle East and collaborate closely with client teams.
