Job Description

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in full-stack development using Java and Node.js, combined with expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) for developing cloud-native SAP applications. The candidate will work on designing, building, and deploying scalable SAP solutions aligned with modern SAP Cloud Platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend and full-stack applications using Java and Node.js.
Design and implement SAP ABAP Cloud applications using Steampunk environment and RAP framework.
Build and consume OData services to support SAP Fiori/UI5 front-end integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions and ensure adherence to SAP cloud development best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Java, Node.js, and ABAP Cloud applications.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
Document technical designs, development processes, and best practices.
Participate in Agile methodologies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

2 4 years of experience with Java and Node.js development.
Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP Cloud (Steampunk) and RAP framework.
Experience developing OData services and integrating with SAP Fiori/UI5.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and related tools.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Exposure to Agile development environments.

Skills:

Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience mentoring junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Java, SAP ABAP Cloud, or related SAP technologies.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP BTP).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as SAP Fiori/UI5, Angular, or React.
