Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Data Modeling: Design and develop data models in SAP BW using components like InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DataStore Objects (DSOs), and Composite Providers
ETL Processes: Develop and manage ETL processes using DataSources, Transformations, and Data Transfer Processes (DTPs) to load data into the BW system
Reporting & Analytics: Create reports and dashboards using tools such as BEx Query Designer or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
System Integration: Work with SAP source systems, including S/4HANA, and integrate data using techniques like CDS Views and Operational Data Provisioning (ODP)
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data models and queries for high performance, especially in SAP BW on HANA environments
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into BW solutions
End-to-End Lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle of BW implementations, from design to deployment and ongoing support
Troubleshooting: Monitor data loads, resolve data issues, and perform root cause analysis for system problems
