Consultant Gynaecologist

Job Summary

The Consultant Gynaecologist will provide comprehensive gynaecological and obstetric care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, surgical procedures, and emergency services. The role requires high clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and adherence to hospital protocols and ethical medical practice.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gynaecological conditions
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Perform normal and operative deliveries including C-sections
• Conduct gynaecological surgeries
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies
• Provide family planning, contraception, and reproductive health services
• Counsel patients on women’s health, fertility, and menopause management

Outpatient & Inpatient Care

• Conduct OPD consultations and follow-up care
• Manage admitted patients and coordinate multidisciplinary care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Academic & Administrative (if applicable)

• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses.
• Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies
• On-call & Emergency Duties
• Provide emergency coverage as per duty roster
• Respond promptly to obstetric and gynaecological emergencies

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Valid Medical Council registration
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (as per hospital requirement)
• Proven expertise in obstetrics and gynaecological procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
