Job Description

Role Overview: IWG is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the New Centre Opening (NCO) programme, ensuring successful delivery in accordance with design standards and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with external partners to coordinate construction, fit-out, refurbishment, and maintenance activities across multiple locations globally. Key Responsibilities: - Project manage the construction of all NCOs in collaboration with external partners, ensuring clear expectations, deadlines, and proactive resolution of issues and risks. - Oversee the fit-out of new centres to align with global design and build standards. - Plan and supervise the refurbishment and maintenance of existing estate, minimizing customer disruption and prioritizing ROI maximization. - Manage internal and external stakeholders to prioritize work according to business needs, ensuring supplier performance aligns with agreements while maintaining positive relationships. - Utilize a strong network of contacts to engage with appropriate suppliers for successful partnerships. Qualifications Required: - Substantial program management experience in fast-paced environments like Retail, Retail banking, Hotels, or Professional consultancy, handling multiple openings within strict timelines and budget constraints. - Demonstrated commercial acumen with a focus on cost reduction and standardization enhancements. - Strong attention to detail, ability to navigate ambiguity and change, and resilience to stay focused on overarching goals. - Previous experience in refurbishment and maintenance management is advantageous. - Proficiency in positively influencing stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures. - Experience in selecting and managing preferred partners for large Design and Build programs through competitive tender processes is beneficial. - Language requirement: Proficiency in English and familiarity with other European languages is appreciated.
