Construction Project Manager

Role Overview: As a Construction Project Coordinator for MCR Block Construction and Finishing in solar power plants, your main responsibility will be to oversee the construction and finishing activities of the Main Control Room (MCR) block. You will act as a key liaison between on-site teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and quality execution of the MCR block within defined project parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate day-to-day construction and finishing activities for the MCR block as per engineering drawings and project specifications with site engineers. - Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless workflow and resolve any site-related issues promptly. - Monitor and track progress against project schedules; highlight any risks or delays to the Project Manager. - Facilitate resource planning including manpower, materials, and equipment for timely execution. - Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on-site. - Assist in procurement follow-ups and ensure timely delivery of materials required for the MCR block construction and finishing. - Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, inspection records, and progress updates. - Support project audits, inspections, and compliance checks as required. - Coordinate with engineering, electrical, and automation teams for installation and finishing requirements specific to the MCR block. - Organize and conduct coordination meetings and site visits to communicate updates and align teams. - Project budget tracking Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline. - Minimum 12 years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in buildings, power plant, or infrastructure projects. - Experience with solar power plant construction will be an advantage. - Strong understanding of construction processes, finishing works, quality control, and safety standards. - Proficient in project management tools and MS Office applications. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across teams effectively. - Knowledge of relevant local construction codes and regulations Additional Details: You will have the opportunity to contribute to a renewable energy project with a meaningful environmental impact.
