Construction Planning Team Member

Purpose/Objective

The role of planner is to prepare preliminary EPC Schedule, Progress reports, S-Curve, Manpower Histogram, Maintaining database and other necessary project control documents required for successful completion of project and report to Senior planner with the relevant information and documents.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Preparation of preliminary level 3 EPC schedules. - Daily, weekly and monthly Progress Report preparation containing Critical issues, Lag Analysis and Actions required. - Preparation and regular updating of Progress Measurement System (PMS) to monitor Project Progress status. - S-Curve preparation, Commodity curve and Manpower Histogram preparation. - Coordination with contractors for inputs. Follow-up for EPC deliverables. - Generation of various MIS reports for presentation to the management. - Identify, analyze and report Critical issues to the Senior Planner. - Coordination with Sr. Manager / Engineers / Contractors / Licensors. - Collection of Data required from different sources. - Preparing Target Vs Achieved statement, Variance & Performance Monitoring statements for all project activities on weekly basis. - Attend progress review meetings and prepare of Minutes of Meeting (MOM) - Maintaining data base of project, capturing lessons learnt and contributing in project closure report.

Technical Competencies

Analyze Critical issues and highlight in management weekly reports.,Analyze schedule and identify activities which are lagging behind schedule. Propose resolution and highlight the issue to the management.,Commitment towards Safety (Lead by example, Risk evaluation & Management, Values human life, develop safety culture).,Suitable Experience and Planning function knowledge of Oil and Gas field

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech from a reputed Institute/ University. Master's degree in the same is preferred. Experiences: Candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in Petrochemical/ Refinery Industry.
