Job Description

Job Title: Construction Manager Reports To: Project Director / VP - Projects Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Manager with at least 10 years of total experience, including a minimum of 5 years reputed construction companies (e.g., Godrej, VTP, S J Contracts, JLL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, managing site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: • Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and construction workers, ensuring efficient site operations. • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and expectations are met. • Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures. • Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources while adhering to the project's financial guidelines. • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess construction progress, report on project milestones, and resolve any issues or delays promptly. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, safety logs, and change orders, and provide timely updates to senior management. • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to construction timelines, costs, and quality to avoid project delays or budget overruns. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years of experience in a reputed construction companies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of construction processes, project management, and safety standards Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
