Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • All project timelines to be decided and making sure that it is happening on time.
  • Quality of the work to be managed properly and making sure the quality of work is best
  • Managing the project managers team
  • Taking regular interval meetings of the project teams
  • Deciding and finalizing the manpower requirment of the project with project manager
  • Making sure the project costing is going as per budget
  • Approving the MRN of the projects
  • Setting up process for inward quality of material and all the processes to be taken care on Site to make work proper
  • Finalizing all the PO of the project, checking the rates and approving the po of all projects
  • Handling the issues of the project for the material and contractor with the project manager
  • Coordination with other departments, licensing department, finance and accounts department for smooth working of project
  • Working on the latest and best technologies of construction as per project requirment
  • Coordination with architect department for their design and working , if any issue with the project manager team for project.
  • Working with management for the new projects and their time management
  • Adding new consultants for Structural, MEP, Landscape etc.
  • Coordination with sales head for work progress of the project , if Project manager is not managing the time lines then he has to interfere between sales and project.
  • Project manager meetings periodically taking to make sure every thing is going in perfect way.
  • Site visits to control and manage the work
  • Selection of specific material for construction
  • Negotiation with contractors if required along with project manager
  • Verification of area of construction for contractors along with the project manager making sure work is awarded for proper quantity
  • Monitoring the automation is implemented properly in the company
  • Take incidental decisions of project for any new situation arising on site.
  • Monitoring the Procurement of Material / Equipment by ensuring adherence to agreed delivery quality, quantity and schedule and take corrective measures.
  • Define policies, practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOSs) for the projects operations and ensure adherence to the same by respective departments.
  • Define the quality assurance and quality control (QA /QC) norms to ensure all construction activities adhere to the expected quality standards.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, ensure cost-effectiveness through out the project lifestyle.
  • Hiring, grooming (If required), upgrading, firing, performance evaluation, etc. all to be done for the team reporting to you.
  • Creating Strategies, for current as well as upcoming projects to commence the departments work and making sur to take necessary actions to get it done as per timelines.
  • Manage all projects assigned with complete understanding of the project and companys vision behind doing the work.

Preferred candidate profile

  • B.E. in Civil Engineering.
  • 2025 years of hands-on experience in real estate construction
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
  • Flexible to travel to project sites.
