Job Description

The Concept Artist works collaboratively with a team to create CG and traditional artwork that aligns with the specific design aesthetic of a show. Your exceptional drawing skills in both traditional and digital formats will be essential for bringing environments, hard surface, creature and character designs, and matte paintings to life. It is important to have a solid foundation in traditional art skills, with a keen understanding of concepts such as three-dimensional space, composition, perspective, proportion, scale, value, depth, and colour theory. Your role will involve ensuring that your work meets the specifications outlined by the Director or Creative team of the show. You should be able to gather research and reference material that will inspire both clients and the design team. The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a production environment is crucial. Strong artistic interpretation skills are a must, along with a willingness to assist with project clean-up and archiving on an ongoing basis. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and possess significant experience in creating concept art for VFX, feature films, and games. Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Sketchup is necessary. Additionally, knowledge or experience in storyboarding, cinematic techniques, language, and shot composition is highly beneficial. A portfolio showcasing your professional and personal work is a requirement for this role. Candidates with knowledge of software tools like Zbrush, Unreal, and Modo will be considered favorably. An understanding of and experience in creating photorealistic work is also a valuable asset. This position is based in Hyderabad.,
