Job Description

As a Concept Artist, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for creating CG and traditional artwork that aligns with the specific design or look of a show. Your role will involve the following: - Exceptional drawing skills in traditional and digital formats - Experience in creating environments, hard surface designs, creatures, characters, and matte paintings - Strong background in traditional art skills with a good grasp of fundamentals like three-dimensional space, composition, perspective, proportion, scale, value, depth, and color theory - Ensuring that your work meets the specifications outlined by the Director or Creative team of the show - Ability to gather and utilize research and reference material to influence clients and the design team - Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a production environment - Strong artistic interpretation skills - Assisting with project clean up and archiving regularly Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with significant experience in producing concept art for VFX, feature films, and games - Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and SketchUp - Familiarity with storyboarding, cinematic techniques, language, and shot composition - A portfolio showcasing both professional and personal work Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.
