Computer Vision Engineer

As a Computer Vision Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in transforming business challenges into data-driven machine learning solutions. You will collaborate with product teams to offer insights from complex data sources and drive product direction through data-based recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement computer vision algorithms and models for image and video analysis, object detection, recognition, and tracking. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for computer vision solutions. - Conduct research to stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning for identifying opportunities for innovation. - Work with large datasets, applying data preprocessing techniques to ensure high-quality training and testing of computer vision models. - Optimize and fine-tune computer vision models for efficiency, accuracy, and real-time performance. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of experience in computer vision and/or deep learning for object detection, tracking, and segmentation in academic or industrial domains. - Proficiency in Python and related packages like numpy, scikit-image, PIL, opencv, matplotlib, seaborn, etc. - Experience with machine/deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, and PyTorch. - Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms in Python or C++. - Hands-on experience in training models through GPU computing using NVIDIA CUDA or on the cloud. - Ability to identify data issues like imbalance, compatibility, privacy, normalization, and encoding, and apply appropriate solutions. - Experience in model selection, evaluation, training, validation, and testing using different methods and scenarios.
