Position Overview

We are seeking eligible and experienced Component Certifying Staff to carry out and certify servicing, repair, overhaul, and major repairs of aircraft components and accessories in accordance with CAR-66 requirements and company MOE procedures.

Eligibility & Regulatory Requirements

(As per CAR-66.A.205 and Approved MOE)

• Minimum age 21 years
• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or equivalent
• Must meet one of the following:
• Hold a valid CAR-66 AME License in appropriate category
• OR
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering / 3-year AME training course with relevant CAR-66 module credits

Mandatory CAR-66 Knowledge Modules

Candidates must have passed (or be eligible for credit) in:

• Module 6 – Materials & Hardware
• Module 7A & 7B – Maintenance Practices
• Module 9A & 9B – Human Factors
• Module 10 – Aviation Legislation

Training Requirements

• Component training from:

• OEM / Manufacturer
• DGCA-approved training organization
• OR On-the-job training under an approved certifying staff

• Valid training certificates for:

• Human Factors
• CAR-145
• Safety Management System (SMS)

Experience Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holders: Minimum 2 years experience in repair / overhaul of aircraft components
• Must include 6 months of recent relevant experience
• For CAR-66 license holders: Minimum 1 year experience, including 3 months recent experience

Key Responsibilities

• Certify maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components
• Ensure work is performed as per approved maintenance data
• Maintain accurate certification and production records
• Support internal, customer, and DGCA audits
• Comply with MOE, safety, and quality system requirements
