Assistant Manager – HR Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and ensure timely
compliance with statutory laws
— PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and Gratuity.
Handle
monthly payroll processing
, including salary inputs, deductions, and statutory remittances.
Prepare and file
challans, returns, and registers
as per applicable laws.
Coordinate with finance and HR teams for
payroll reconciliation
and issue resolution.
Maintain employee compliance data and ensure
accurate record-keeping
.
Liaise with
government authorities and auditors
during inspections and audits.
Keep track of
amendments in labour laws
and ensure necessary policy updates.
Manage
vendor coordination
for outsourced payroll or compliance services (if applicable).
Support in
compliance audits, internal reviews, and documentation
.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with
company policies and statutory requirements
.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of
Statutory Compliance
(PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, etc.)
Hands-on experience in
Payroll Processing
and statutory filings.
Proficiency in
MS Excel and HRMS / Payroll software
.
Good understanding of
labour laws and compliance timelines
.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external agencies.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
