The Silver Surfers Club, founded in 2014 and established in 2016 by Dipti Varma Narain, is a subscription-based social impact organization addressing the needs of people over the age of 55. Our goal is to solve loneliness, isolation, and create a sense of purpose among seniors. With a community of over 150 individuals, we work with corporate partners and have received recognition for our disruptive work. Our verticals include a global community, senior travel and leisure, re-employment and generational diversity, events and workshops, and social service.

Role Description

This is a limited hours remote role for a Community Manager at The Silver Surfers Club. The Community Manager will be responsible for engaging and growing our community, organizing events and activities, capturing digital content, and fostering partnerships with corporate partners. The role will also involve supporting seniors in inclusion initiatives, as well as overseeing social service projects.

• Community Management and Engagement skills
• Event Planning and Coordination experience
• Digital Content Creation and Management skills
• Partnership Development and Corporate Relations skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience working with seniors or in a social impact organization is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
