Job Opportunity: Community Health Trainer
Location: Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh

Overview:
Daksh Foundation is seeking a passionate and experienced Community Health Trainer to contribute to adolescent health and well-being initiatives in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have expertise in social work, psychology, or rural development and will play a key role in counseling, health education, and community outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Adolescent Counseling & Health Education:

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions on topics including reproductive health, sexual health, mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, and general well-being.
• Conduct interactive educational sessions for adolescents on hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Address psychosocial challenges and encourage positive behavioral changes among youth.

Community Outreach:

• Collaborate with local communities to promote awareness around adolescent health issues.
• Organize and support community-based initiatives such as health camps, school-based programs, and youth empowerment activities.
• Mobilize youth participation in counseling sessions and health-related events.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree (with minimum 55% marks) from a recognized institution in one of the following:
• M.S.W. (Master of Social Work)
• M.A. (Psychology)
• M.A. (Sociology)
• M.Sc. (Rural Development)

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in computer science/information management.
• Expertise in data entry, designing reports, and statistical analysis.
• Mandatory proficiency in MS Excel and online reporting platforms.

Experience:

• Minimum of recent (within last 3 years) work experience in government or non-government organizations.
• Prior experience in reporting on government health schemes.
• Internships or short-term projects will not be considered.
• Candidates with experience under the National Adolescent Health Program will be given preference.

Local Residency Requirement:

• Preference will be given to permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, especially those applying from Sheopur district.

• Valid experience certificate(s).
• Permanent residency certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
