Job Description

You are a dynamic and results-driven IT Procurement Professional based in Bangalore, India. Your primary responsibility is to lead strategic sourcing and procurement of IT hardware and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. You will need to effectively manage stakeholder and supplier relationships, demonstrate a proactive mindset, and showcase a strong passion for digital procurement. Your key responsibilities include leading strategic sourcing initiatives for IT hardware such as servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. You will also oversee the procurement of IT application management services, including engagements based on Statement of Work (SOW) and time-and-material-based IT manpower. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders is crucial for successful and cost-effective procurement. Additionally, you should be able to operate effectively in high-pressure environments, manage diverse stakeholder expectations, and implement advanced negotiation strategies while collaborating with legal and compliance teams for contract management. As a Mid-Level IT Procurement Professional, you are expected to continuously identify and implement innovative procurement strategies to enhance value delivery. Self-motivation, a commitment to continuous learning, and improvement are essential qualities for this role. Proficiency in professional English communication, with strong written communication and email etiquette, is required. You should advocate for and utilize digital procurement tools like Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and e-sourcing platforms to streamline procurement processes. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is considered a bonus. You should have 6-8 years of experience in IT procurement or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record in supplier and stakeholder management. A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and service procurement, familiarity with digital procurement platforms and tools, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are also required for this role.,
