Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Developing commissioning plans and schedules for all equipment and systems, including pumps, filters, clarifiers, and disinfection systems.

Coordinating with the design and construction teams to ensure that all equipment and systems are installed correctly and in accordance with design specifications.

Conducting site inspections and tests to ensure that all equipment and systems are operating as intended and meeting required performance standards.

Developing and implementing commissioning test procedures, and ensuring that they are carried out safely and efficiently.

Managing and coordinating the work of commissioning technicians, contractors, and other staff involved in the commissioning process.

Tracking and reporting on project progress, and identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.

Conducting training sessions for plant operators to ensure that they are familiar with the operation and maintenance of the commissioned systems.

Ensuring that all project documentation, including test reports, equipment manuals, and as-built drawings, is complete and accurate

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

6+ yrs. of experience in the field of commissioning
Must have superior communication skills, both written and oral.
Leadership skills.
Capable of working in a team, prioritizing, multi-tasking and organizing.
Flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities.
Ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to tackle high pressure situations
