M Grill Calicut is looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery Commis I to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of high-quality bakery items, including breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Responsibilities include ensuring all ingredients are prepped (mise en place), maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section, monitoring inventory, minimizing waste, and supporting the pastry team during busy operations. The candidate must have a minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or hotel setting, along with a relevant diploma or certification in Bakery or Culinary Arts. Attention to detail, creativity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are essential.
