Job Summary: Commi 1 The Commis 1 is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Continental dishes while following the standard recipes, hygiene, and safety standards. This role requires efficiency, precision, and the ability to work under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items as instructed by senior chefs (e.g., grilled meats, pasta, sauces, soups). Assist in mise en place (chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, marinating meats). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner. Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. Follow food hygiene and safety procedures. Support the Chef de Partie in daily operations. Job Summary: Commi 2 Commis 2 is an entry-level position that provides support to the Commis 1 and kitchen team in the preparation of Continental dishes. The role is ideal for those starting their culinary career and looking to build skills and experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist with basic food preparation (e.g., washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients). Maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools, equipment, and workstations. Help with mise en place as directed by senior staff. Learn recipes and cooking techniques under the guidance of Commis 1 and senior chefs. Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients. Follow all hygiene and safety protocols.
